Film making for Young People
Dudendance were invited by Deveron Arts Huntly as artists in residence in 2002. Since then Clea and Paul made Huntly their home teaching regular summer-schools in dance, drama and filmmaking to children in Aberdeenshire. The rural town of Huntly is surrounded by interesting locations and places filled with history. We have looked at story telling and fairy tales as a way to creating other worldly environments. The children have produced and animated their own films as well as taking part as a group in a bigger “picture” film project. Ghost dances is the latest project featuring underwater footage projected onto giant white paper dresses- see under current.
