DETOUR on route to a movie
Dudendance are using live work to build an experimental feature length film treatment that allows the same characters to meander through the theatrical/film landscape. The final film will be shot on mini DV and Super 8mm on locations in Argentina, Brasil and Scotland.

Alone in his caravan George observes “headless” Betty roaming and busying herself around the yard. At night he gets into one of his broken vehicles and drives himself into another world.

2 men struggling to lay a table are manipulated by invisible forces that make their task impossible. Inspired by neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s and Sleepy Sickness.

Short film from performance. To be further developed for site-specific locations as Club-Tropika. Set in a noir night club/ performers undergo an interrogation concerning the disappearance of a singer.
